Predictive maintenance (PdM) is part
of the overall reliability process. As such,
ITR
considers all aspects of the process from the customer’s perspective, including
planning the work to completing preventive maintenance actions (PMs). Doing so ensures
each
PdM
program is designed specifically for the needs of each customer's reliability
and maintenance management system.
ITR
accomplishes this through development and implementation of proprietary technologies.

As an example,
ITR
continues to design and produce much of its data acquisition hardware and software
because many commercially available technologies are inadequate.
ITR
does not rely on off-the-shelf (OTS) technologies. When accuracy, precision, flexibility,
speed and reliability are most important in all technologies, the best
PdM
service providers cannot be constrained by OTS limitations.
